In the year 1918, a woman could buy a dress for $3.18. Can you believe in 2018, I bought (2) dresses for $3.00 a piece! Yass! Read on for the details:
Two weeks ago, I visited my hometown Jackson, TN. While driving to my parents house, I passed Ms. Pat's This & That. I've seen this store many times, even talked to my mom about stopping in but had never taken the time to do so. This time, I almost passed by the store once again but for some reason, this time I decided to go in, and I am so glad that I did!
I walked into the store and discovered that Ms. Pat's This & That, is the Mega of Thrift Stores in Jackson, this store has EVERYTHING! Ladies dresses, suits, shoes, men's suits, jeans, shoes, purses, earrings, accessories, home décor, furniture and more!
Owner, Ms. Pat says, "I started my business because I wanted customers who were on a budget to have a place to shop designer goods at a LOW prices! I wanted to help and be blessing to those who were on a budget like myself."
The store is owned by Ms. Pat who puts a lot of pride and work into her store, traveling all the way to Milwaukee for inventory. Ms. Pat says, "I started my business because I wanted customers who were on a budget to have a place to shop designer goods at a LOW prices! I wanted to help and be blessing to those who were on a budget like myself.""
And she's doing just that! I found this Animal Print Michael Kors dress for $3.00 and the below sweater dress also for $3.00!
Here's how I styled the MK dress: The dress was a large so I added a belt to give it a more fitting look. I finished the look with black tights and boots because it give the dress a fall look. But the dress can also be easily worn in the spring with sandals or open toe shoes because of the lightweight, stretchy material of the dress. Completed the look with gold earrings, MK and Juicy Couture bracelets as accesories.
The second dress is a blush colored sweater dress. I was drawn to this dress because of the ruffled sleeves, I really thought the ruffled detailing added something special to the simple style of the dress. I added black tights, boots and a crème colored scarf to complete the look.
And that's what $6.00 bought me! It's had to find lunch anymore for less than $10 and I found two cute dresses for almost half of that price!
If you in the Jackson area or will be passing through stop by and see Ms. Pat at 511 East Main Street and be sure to tell her that I sent you!
